Will a 17-inch laptop actually fit? Yes — in the 20″ and 22″ sizes the main compartment takes laptops up to 17.3″, with space left over for a charger and a notebook.

Will it hold a full day's kit without looking bulky? Yes. Laptop, notebook, headphones, camera, bottle and the small stuff all go in at once — the structured canvas lining keeps the silhouette flat instead of round.

Can I use it as a cabin bag? The 18″ and 20″ work as a personal item or carry-on with most airlines; the 22″ is best as a carry-on — check your carrier's limits before you fly.
